Changes With The Kickstarter
IMPORTANT Item/Pricing/Shipping/Tax changes
Well, hey there, everyone. I didn’t want to shift some things at the last minute, but these things do happen in an ever-changing economic climate such as ours.
A week or so ago, we received some updates on shipping costs and had to make a bit of a change.
Due to the inconsistency and unpredictability of shipping costs in our current local and global economies, for this campaign, we have been forced to change a couple of things around since I sent the previous newsletter. For one, shipping rates have increased. So that’s made us change the way we’re charging for shipping.
In our previous campaigns, we lumped the shipping and tax costs in with the reward costs. So it was all just one flat fee. This is not what a normal online shopping experience looks like for most people, but we wanted to be as straightforward with the pricing as possible. And while we’re still being straightforward, things look a little different and a little more like traditional online shopping.
Due to the unpredictability of shipping costs, we opted to charge shipping separately from our reward costs. Our backers will now be charged for shipping after they complete their survey, right before we begin fulfillment. This ensures that you will not be unintentionally overcharged, and we will not underestimate shipping costs ahead of fulfillment.
So that means at the end of the campaign (on Thursday, May 28th, 2026), you’ll be charged for the rewards you have chosen. But your shipping and tax costs will be charged separately when you fill out your Kickstarter Surveys when we are close to fulfillment (around a year from now). Fulfillment is targeted for May of 2027, although we may fulfill sooner if the project finishes up early (that’s the goal).

Any add-ons will add to the shipping costs. Final shipping will be calculated based on the total weight when you fill out your survey.
A quick note about taxes: This time, we’re using Kickstarter’s Pledge Manager. If you are a backer in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or European Union, any required sales tax or VAT will be collected when you fill out your post-campaign survey. This ensures you’re only charged the exact tax amount required for your location and keeps us compliant with tax laws worldwide.
So, all that being said, we have also calculated costs to reflect the most updated, realistic current market. Here are the repriced reward tiers:
Unfortunately, due to recent rising costs, we had to cut the Eula logo beanie. However, we are offering The Cosmic Wheel beanie and the Memoirs of an Angel logo beanie as add-ons to any reward tier.
